PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS FOR CONSTRUCTION OF APPROCHES BY RATHOA-HARYAM BRIDGE ACROSS RESERVOIR CHANNEL ON MIRPUR-ISLAMGARH ROAD (MIRPUR-AJK)

1. Azad Govt. of the state of Jammu & Kashmir has been successful in convincing Govt. of Pakistan to fund for the construction of Rathoa-Haryam Bridge Across the reservoir channel on Mirpur Islamgarh road. The bridge along with its approaches over Mangla Dam reservoir will provide a link between Mirpur city and Islamgarh town to have quick and direct access to Mirpur city.

2. This Project is likely to cost about Rs. 322.844 Million will have about long earth filled road. The Said work is to be completed in One year time.

3. Office of the Project Director for Construction of Rathoa-Haryam Bridge across Reservoir Channel of Mirpur Islamgarh Road (Mirpur-AJK) invites applications for pre-qualification of Firms/Contractors for above mentioned project.

4. Firms/Contractors have similar type of experience (National/International) and are registered with Pakistan Engineering Council in (NO LIMIT CATEGORY) for years of 2006-2007 may obtain further information.

5. A complete set of Pre-qualification document/ questioner may be obtained by the interested contractor on submission of written application to the address given below upon payments of non-refundable fee of Rs. 5000/- (five thousand only) in the form of Bank Draft or Pay Order in favor of Project Director Rathoa Haryam Bridge (Mirpur-AJK) during working day from 0900 hours to 1400 hours from the date of appearance of Notice in the News Paper.

6. Applications for the pre-qualification duly completed and supported with documentary evidence should be sealed envelopes to address given below latest by 03-12-2007.

7. The firm/ contractor supplying unsustainable or wrong information are liable to legal action and disqualification.
