System Administrator

The CIDA Program Support Unit (PSU) , Islamabad , requires a System Administrator who will be responsible for the provision and support of all information System (IS) services within the PSU by ensuring the availability and efficiency of the IS  infrastructure , e.g. servers , workstations, printers , e-mail, data communication links alia , Furthermore , he / she will be responsible for providing technical advice and helpdesk facilities (such as troubleshooting) and will report to the Operations Managers.

Qualification:
BCS / BIT (preferably MCS / MIT / M.Sc Computer Science) MCSE would be an advantage.

Experience :
1. Specialist experience of network administration (at least 4 years)

2. Professional experience in IS and a helpdesk environment (at least 3 years)

3. Experience in planning , installing and maintaining Microsoft 2000 and 2003 server environments including Microsoft Window XP workstations; Microsoft Exchange 2000 and 2003; Ms-Office 2003 and 2007.

A solid command of written and spoken English is an essential requirement.
