Request for Proposals

Construction of Transitional Shelter Building for Technical Education and Vocational Training.

UNESCO is building 4 Transitional Shelter Building for Technical Education and Vocational Training Reactivation: three in Azad Jammu and Kashmir and one is North West Frontier Province. For this purpose, UNESCO invites competent private firms and I/NGOs to submit proposals.

The proposal should be submitted in the following two parts:

1. Proposal and Technical Design: To be submitted on the basis of modular designs as per the Technical Guidelines for Design & Construction of Transitional Shelters Buildings for TEVT Reactivation. [Sealed in one envelope].

2. Financial Proposal: i) Bill of Quantity and drawing using modular design for each workshop. ii) Combined total Bill of Quantity for all workshops and iii) Summary cost sheet. [Sealed in another envelope]

The envelopes shall:

• Be addressed to UNESCO, House No. 17, Street No. 8, Sector F-7/3, P.O. Box 2034, Islamabad, Pakistan: and clearly state: "PROPOSAL FOR SERVICES-CONFIDENTIAL: DO NOT OPEN".

• Both inner envelopes shall indicate the name and address of the Offeror. The first inner envelope shall contain the information on the Proposal and Technical Design with the copies duly marked "Original" and "Copy" the second inner envelope shall include the Financial Proposal duly identified as such.
