Expression of Interest Economic Advisory Services

Inter State Gas Systems (ISGS) is a Company established by the Government of Pakistan to develop natural gas import projects to meet the country's growing energy requirements, ISGS is joint venture of Sui Southern Gas Company (SSGC) and Sui Northern Gas Pipeline Ltd. (SNGPL). The combined gas transmission and distribution network of both utility companies exceeds 92,000 km, with gas sales exceeding 929 Bcf per annum and annual gas sales of nearly US$ 3 billion. ISGS is currently developing projects to import natural gas from neighboring countries, and plans to construct a high pressure gas transmission pipelines to feed imported gas into the national gas transmission system.

• ISGS now invites Expression of Interest (EOI) from economic consulting companies based in Pakistan to undertake economic studies in the energy sector.
• Applicants should be companies of repute, with experience in conducting economic and commercial studies in Pakistan's energy sector and having successfully undertaken energy and gas pricing studies and tariff analysis in the last ten years.
• The selected company shall be assigned to undertake studies/assignments on a case to case basis.
• Consulting companies meeting the above requirements may obtain the TOR documents, which includes the project description and scope of work, through email or directly from the address given below.
• Last date for submission of proposals is 17th December, 2007.
