EAD ADVISORS / DIRECTORS

• Applications are invited from Pakistani experts / professionals to work as Advisors / Directors in the Economics Affairs Divisions. The Advisors / Directors will strengthen the work of EAD's Policy Wings i.e., especially World Bank / IDA, ADB, UN and Economic Cooperation Wings. They will be responsible to provide professional input and analysis on the issues that impact the flow of aid, cost , efficiency and effectiveness which subsequently influence the economic development.

• The advisors / Directors will be expected to work on reforms introduced in the country with relation to the flow of external financing and the reforms introduced by the international development partners ( multilateral and bilateral) their strategies, policies , and new debit instruments that impact cost and effectiveness of ODA or risk long-terms concessional external resources. They would be expected  to undertake similar work on bilateral economics relations between Pakistan and other countries and UN including thematic and cross-cutting issues of UN Reforms.

• The services of Advisors / Directors will be hired initially for a period of one year from EDA's development project: "Institutional Strengthening and Efficiency Enhancement of EAD". The appointment will be further extended on the basic of performance during the initial year.

• Applicants should have post-graduate degree in Economics Finance or Business Administration from a recognized University. Applicants having Ph.D. in Economic or Social Sciences or a  Masters Degree in above fields from an accredited International University will be given preference.

• 20 years of experience is required which should have minimum 15 years of experience in a government department or with an international development agency. The experience should be in the fields of economics / financial management , macroeconomic foreign project / aid management.

• Applicants should be below 63 years of age.

• The Advisors / Directors will be offered a competitive package that commensurate with qualification and experience.
