PRE-QUALIFICATION OF CONSULTANCY FIRMS

The Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir is interested to hire a lead consulting firm for identifying and developing CDM project as laid down in Kyoto Protocol and realizing their financial potentials by taking CERs generated to emission trading markets. The Expression of interests is hereby invited from well reputed and experienced Consultancy Firms for the same. The areas of the support required are as under:

1. Relating carbon finance in the projects funded by Government of AJK and private sector in hydro-power, Afforestation, Agriculture and industry sectors.

2.  Technical Advisory Service for CDM projects design and development

3. Support in pricing and marketing of CERs.

4. Joint safeguarding CERs delivery through escrow facility.

5. Monitoring of carbon emission reduction and carbon assists managements.

The interested Consultants / Firms are requested to submit their prequalification application, along with the complete bio-data of the firm/consultants showing details of works executed or in progress of similar nature with documentary proof , technical know-how , detail of technical staff with their qualifications etc. not later than 15 day after publication of this Notice, at the address given below. Only the pre-qualified consultants / firms will be contracted for technical and financial proposals.
