Tender for e-Government Project for the provision of Online Tracking System for Cargo Handling Freight Wagons and Locomotives.

As part of the project, sealed bids/quotations are invited from the reputed Firms/companies having legal presence in Pakistan for provision of Real Time tracking system for Freight Wagons and Locomotives.

• Bids may be submitted to the undersigned in a SEALED CONFIDENTIAL COVER at the address given below latest by 2nd April, 2008 by 3:00 pm. The Technical bids will be opened on the same day at 3:30 pm.

• A pre-bid meeting will be held on 19th March, 2008 at 10:00 a.m. in the premises of EGD, to answer any queries that potential bidders may have. All queries relating to RFP should be faxed or mailed to undersigned at least 3 days before the pre-bid meeting.

• The subject RFP may change after the above mentioned Bidders conference. It is kindly requested to visit EGDs web site for any updates.

• Bids that disclose the Financials and /or Bid Bond value with the Technical Proposal will be rejected.

• EGD reserves the right not to accept the lowest or nay tender, or to annul the tender without assigning any reason thereof or attracting any penalty.
