Expression of Interest (EOI)

for Provision of Services for Cracks Sealing with New Technology on Motorways

1. National Highway Authority (NHA) invites Expression of interest (EOI) from interested firms for pre-qualification for Cracks sealing Services with new Technology and Hot Applied Sealant Material on Asphalt Pavement on Motorways

2. The scope of services include:

1. Routing of various cracks ranging from 4 mm width router machine:

2. Cleaning of routed cracks and surrounding pavement free from debris and other harmful substances before injection. Heating may also be required in case of moisture or when temperature is lower then 5C.

3. Supply and injection of sealant material at approx. 180C into routed crack with specialized nozzle.

4. Pouring cement or stone powder on top of sealed cracks.

3. The companies are required to submit the following documents to enable NHA to assess and evaluate the qualification of firms, as per weightage indicated

1. Detailed of firm/joint venture profile and experience (if any) (5%)

2. Proposed methodology , that how the company proceed with the said task and paricular experience along with detail of equipment (50%)

3. Financial capabilities of the last three years (20%)

4. Personal capabilities with bio-data of key personal dully signed (10%)

5. Valid PEC Certificate (10%)

6. Litigation History (if any) (5%)

4. The Expression of Interest (EOI) of the applicants shall be received in the office General Manager (Motorways) NHA Balkassar upto 1400 hours on 29-03-2008.

5. Tenders shall be called from pre-qualified firm only, which will certain the date of submission and opening of bids.

6. National Highway Authority reserves the right to accept or reject any or all of the proposals without assigning any reason(s).
