Pre-qualification of the Manufacturer of Alum Sulphate Through Rate Running Contract (Remaining Work)

1. CDA intends to produce Alum Sulphate (Alum Coagulant for water purification) for use at its water treatment plants
2. The interested firms (Manufacturers only) are hereby invited to provide their samples alongwith  other relevant details of their firm, standard of alum / lab test report of alum for pre-qualification Required quantity and specification of alum sulphate are detailed below

A). Quantity Required = 1084 M.Ton
      (On Risk and Cost)

B). Specification

I) Alumina Al2O3 = 14% (Max)

II) Iron as Fe = 0.5% (Max)

III) Insoluble matter = 0.5% (Max)

IV) Toxic matter = Almost will will no toxic effect

V) Moisture = 20% (Max)

3. The interested manufacturers whose samples shall conform to the above mentioned specification and determined satisfactory by CDA shall be asked separately to give there prices thereafter

4. The samples along with the requisite details and schedule of delivery should reach to this office before or on 30-05-2008 before closing hours.
