The Mount Sinai School is a newly established school in Islamabad run under close supervision of experience Muslim educationists from USA and UK. Classes in Junior Section (Play Group to Class 4) are scheduled to commence on August 18, 2008 inshaAllah. We require highly motivated, dedicated and experienced professionals for the following positions. All positions except "Administrator" and "Sports Instructor" are for female candidates only. The school admits both girl and boy students.

Principal

Must have a minimum of 8 years of relevant work experience including 3 years of experience as a Head Teacher in a good private school; hold a Masters degree preferably in Education; a degree from an accredited American or British university is a plus; must have a thorough knowledge of, and capability to incorporate, the latest methodologies and techniques of educational administration; provide valuable input to the Academic Board on curriculum research and development; should be able to manage the entire school administration independently; good communication skills and fluency in English are required.

Teachers

A first class bachelor's degree preferably in Education, and at least 2 years of teaching experience in a good private school is required; an excellent command over English language is a must; relevant qualification from a well-known UK or US institution will be an advantage; must be able to use computers and internet.

Arabic Language Teachers

An excellent command over contemporary and Quranic Arabic is required; must have a native accent; must be thoroughly familiar with modern techniques of teaching Arabic as a second language.

Administrator

Excellent communication and computer skills are must; must have a problem solving attitude to coordinate administrative and business affairs of the school; MBA degree will be preferred although exceptional candidates with other degrees will also be considered.

Quranic Tajweed Teacher

Must have a certificate in Tajweed from a recognized institution and thorough knowledge of Quranic Tajweed; good communication skills are required.

Sports Instructor

A bachelor's degree or a diploma in Physical Education and at least 3 years of experience in a good privates school is required. Retired Army personnel with relevant experience will also be considered; experience as Riding instructor will be a plus.

Operator Receptionist

Excellent communication skills and fluency in English are required.
