Tender Notice For Solar Energy Solution 

Private Power and Infrastructure Board (PPIB) of the Ministry of Water and Power is responsible to facilitate private sector in the participation of power generation in Pakistan.

PPIB invites applications from well reputed solar energy solution providers or their authorized representatives in Pakistan for conversion of its office electricity supply to solar energy. Interested firms/companies meeting the following criteria may apply with complete details of the firm, its directors, technical staff, manufacturing facility, collaboration if any, experience and details of previous works:

• Knowledge to design, develop, assemble and manufacturing complete solar energy products.
• Practical experience of manufacturing and installation of solar energy systems.
• Own facility of assembling or manufacturing solar energy products.
• Minimum five years of working experience in the same field.
• Track record of supplying complete solar energy systems to the government or multinational companies in the past.
• The company/firm must be a direct authorized dealer of their products.
• One year warranty on parts and one year free technical support is required, except as specified otherwise.
• Successful bidders will have to produce sales tax invoice of the goods procured.
• The interested parties/firms should indicate their income tax number and registration with director of Sales Tax. They should have proper office and telephone numbers.
• Income Tax and other government taxes will be deducted at source as admissible under the Government rules.

Interested parties may visit PPIB any time during office hours to assess the load and for obtaining other information, from the date of publication of the advertisement, till 14th June, 2008.

Bids alongwith bid fee of Rs. 5000/- (non-refundable) and 5% of the total quoted amount as earnest money (refundable) in the form of a pay order/DD separately in favour of "Private Power and Infrastructure Board" should reach this office by 16th June, 2008 by 1500 hours, which will be opened on the same day at 1530 hours in the presence of the bidders.

PPIB reserve the right to reject or accept any tender without assigning any reason.
