Trinidad and Tovago, Kenya, Malaysia, China, India, and Pakistan, and project offices in 67 countries, CABI's mission is to improve people's lives worldwide by providing information and the applying scientific expertise to solve problems in agriculture and the environment. Our international development group in conjunction with our international donors and partners, initiated and manages a wide range of global projects in support of development themes.

We are seeking a project Development Officer to work with our project managers and implementers around the world in the initiation and development of project proposals of the highest quality.

The successful candidate will have and a broad understanding of the use off applied science for international development purposes, a relevant degree, preferably with experience in the international development arena. They will have first class written and oral communication skills in English and with a proven record of writing popular science articles. They will also be familiar with donor project document formats such as PC-Ls and LFAs and will preferably have experience of scientific of financial administration. They will be highly motivated customer focused demonstrably proactive and would desirably have experience of living and working in South Asia. Good knowledge of the MS office program suite will also be necessary. More detailed information on the role is available on our website at
