URGENT - JOB VACANCY

Director of Hygiene and Sanitation Promotion

Location: Islamabad

Position: Oversee all hygiene promotion and behavior change activities. This includes technical oversight and leadership and planning, coordinating and reporting on implementation as well as managing 6 professional staff and overseeing all personnel, financial and procurement actions.

Education Required:

• Advanced degree in public health, health sciences, international development or
•  communications, preferable for a university outside Pakistan.

Experience Required:

• At least 10 years experience with 7 years experience as senior technical director managing and implementing donor funded projects in Pakistan on a national scale.
• At least 7 years experience in behavior change communication (BCC) program design and implementation, hygiene promotion, and community based implementation.
• Experience designing, analyzing and reporting quantitative and qualitative research.
• Experience working with private commercial sector partners preferred.
• Identifying, fielding and supporting BCC and research consultants.

Skills Required:

• Ability to work independently and part team, access priorities, and manage a variety of activities under tight deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and organizational skills
• Superior English, both spoken and written
• Excellent computer skills
