National Credit & Collection Manager
The Job: This is a senior management position
reporting into Head Retail and responsible for managing bank's credit &
collection functions. Core responsibilities include devising and implementing
credit and collections policies, periodically reviewing effectiveness of these
policies, formulating strategies in order to facilitate retail business
particularly sales and distribution function, manage portfolio health and
associated function, manage portfolio health and associated risks and to meet
collections goals. Drive credit and collections technology initiatives for task
facilitation and quality and timely decision making. Manage delinquency
performance and recovery targets in line with strategic business objectives and
formulation of straddling techniques to catalyze status of non performing loans
to current and provide lead role to to credit and collections team. Identify and
devise self and team's development need initiatives. Besides, the incumbent
would participate in decisions relating to formulation and implementation of
Bank's business and operational strategies and plans aimed at steering overall
direction of the institution. Ensure adherence to prudential regulations.
The Candidate: The incumbent should have around 7-10 years
of relevant experience within financial institution and technology-driven
environment. Have exposure to strategy development within a retail banking
environment with strong orientation to credit and operational areas and a
background in the credit & collection disciplines. Should demonstrate strong
interpersonal, team building and communication skills with commitment to deliver
results and meet deadlines. Should have a high degree of focus, energy and
intensity with a passion for continuous improvement and excellence.
The incumbent should have a post-graduate degree in
Business Administration - Banking or Finance from an HEC recognized university.
Be below 40 years of age.
Manager Policy Control
The Job: The position is responsible for monitoring
risk exposure, portfolio composition/concentration and the adequacy of
provisioning levels in light of economic conditions, international practices and
acceptable benchmarks. Ensure legal and regulatory compliance of the lending
policy. Establish credit procedures in compliance with credit & audit policies
and with all procedural documentation. Periodically conduct credit process,
business and product risk reviews. Implement dual controls in the credit process
to prevent error or manipulation in financial records, client static data and
other records. Develop judgmental scoring methods and behavioral scoring system.
Implement proactive and reactive internal and external fraud prevention and
identification procedures. Develop cost effective credit processing,
administration and collection methods that protect Bank's assets. Identify
methods of maintaining good customer relationships and service standards.
The Candidate:
The incumbent should have at least 5-8 years relevant
experience at policy and portfolio management level preferably in a
multinational bank. Should be well versed with consumer lending principles, risk
management & internal control mechanisms, provisioning principles and loan
accounting.
The incumbent should have a post-graduate degree in
Business Administration - Banking or Finance from an HEC recognized university.
Be below 35 years of age.
Manager Credit
The Job: The position is responsible for policy
development, review, implementation, communication, and credit training. Analyze
market needs, develop and update products in line with corporate standards to
meet target market needs. Responsible for portfolio reporting. Conduct product
lifecycle-based planning to determine performance measures and identify credit
projections and develop the use of management information system and related
financial or statistical models.
The Candidate: The incumbent should have at least 5-8
years credit portfolio or product management experience preferably in a
multinational bank. Should be well versed with consumer lending principles, risk
management & internal control mechanisms, provisioning principles and loan
accounting.
The incumbent should have a post-graduate degree in
Business Administration - Banking or Finance from an HEC recognized university.
Be below 35 years of age.
Manager Collection
The Job: The position is responsible for developing
and implementing collection policy and processes and provisioning / write-off
guidelines within the regulatory framework. Develop and implement criteria to
assess collection performance. Ensure collection strategy and planning. Manage
collection targets. Suggest policy recommendations regarding credit &
collections. Keep track of periodic portfolio/efficiency reporting. Take
care of fraud/non-compliance interventions and reporting. Ensure systems
planning / parameterization controls.
The Candidate: The incumbent should have at least 5
years credit portfolio management and at least 3 years collection operations
management experience preferably in a multinational bank. Credit administration
or loan restructuring exposure will be a plus. Should be well versed with
consumer lending principles, strong accounting acumen and have knowledge of
provisioning and loan accounting principles.
The incumbent should have a post-graduate degree in
Business Administration - Banking or Finance from an HEC recognized university.
Be below 35 years of age.
Manager Fraud & Forgery
The Job: The position is responsible for the
management of fraud control & authorization function. Develop fraud control
strategies & procedures for timely implementation to protect Bank's portfolios.
Facilitate the development of controls which aid detection and prevention of
fraud & forgery. Be familiar with the inherent risks and exposures and be alert
for any indicators of improper activities, misappropriation, or dishonest
activity. Work with technology to develop & upgrade system to manage Bank's
risks. Liaison with industry & law enforcement representatives. Prepare
comprehensive analysis detailing fraud cases & trends and deliver updates for
management for all fraud issues.
The Candidate: The incumbent should have at least
5-8 years relevant experience preferably in a multinational bank. Should have
thorough understanding of relevant local regulatory & compliance requirements.
Be aware of SBP Prudential Regulations & have expert knowledge of best
practices.
The incumbent should have a post-graduate degree in
Business Administration - Banking or Finance from an HEC recognized university.
Be below 35 years of age.
