National Electric Power Regulatory Authority (NEPRA), statutory body established under an act of the parliament of Pakistan, is an autonomous body responsible of regulating generation, transmission and distribution of electricity. Determination of tariff for hydropower generating projects on the basis of bankable feasibility reports of the projects is one of the functions of NEPRA.

NEPRA intends to hire the services of reputed and experience Local Engineering Consultant (Lead Consultant) in association with; (i) International Engineering Consultant (ii) Financial Consultant as part of International Consultant's team or independent Local firm as a Contracts of Hydropower Projects for technical and financial prudence as required by NEPRA for tariff determination.

The job is on retainer ship basis during which the Consultant will carry out short term based assignments i.e. reviews of feasibility studies and EPC bids as/when provided by NEPRA.

The offer should comprise a single package containing two separate envelopes each for technical and financial proposal.

The Lead Consultant should have at least 10 years of experience in planning, designing, implementing and commissioning all types of Hydropower Projects.

Proposals should include details of the projects planned, designed and implemented by the Consultant. Only those projects should be listed which are in operation or under construction.
