OFFICE OF THE DEFENCE ADVISER

The Office of the Defence Adviser (ODA) within Australian High Commission , Islamabad has a vacancy for a locally engaged employee, at the office Manager.

An excellent locally engaged staff work-conditions packages will be offered, with salary decided according to relevant qualification and experience.

The successful applicant will be able to demonstrate the ability to:

• Provide specialist administrative and financial management advice within the Defence Section.

• Manage the Defence section's budget, accounts and administration to a very high standard.

• Efficiently and effectively manage the Defence Cooperation Programme (DCP)

• Arrange all aspects of domestic and international travel for the Defence section.

• Arrange the procurement, maintenance and disposal of all Defence section equipment and supplies and maintain the Defence section inventory registers

• Supervise tasking of personal staff for Defence members.

The successful candidate will have:

• A good understanding of IT system and be trained and experienced in using Microsoft Office applications.

• Excellent written and spoken English.

• Good interpersonal and communication skills.

• Good time management skills.

• Relevant territory education qualification.

• Relevant administrative and financial management experience.
