Jhpiego - an affiliate of Johns Hopkins University, USA is a leading international non-profit organization working in health sector to increase access to healthcare services globally. In Pakistan, Jhpiego has been working since 2004 in the field of family planning and primary healthcare. Jhpiego is seeking a suitable candidate for the following senior-level  position on a family planning project. The position is based on Islamabad and reports to Chief of Party of the project and Jhpiego Regional Team Leader ANE region.

Program Advisor Training and Quality Improvement (PATQI)

The PATQI will provide overall stratetgic technical guidance to the family planning project. S/he provide technical and programmatic leadership to the training and quality Improvement component of the project in the field for effective implementation of national standards for family planning. The Advisor will lead both in service and pre service training districts. S/he will provide technical support to the relevant government departments and partner organizations in the consortium including private sector and will also actively guide district field teams in implementing quality improvement approaches, training activities, and also maintaining technical improvement approaches, training activities, and also maintaining technical accuracy of the Behaviour change communication strategies, plans, and materials developed under the project.

The incumbent will maintain efficient coordination between the project activities and Jhpiego's home office to ensure timely and efficient technical support to the project. The PATQI will ensure effective representation of Jhpiego in the project consortium and with collaborating government departments.

The candidate should hold at least MBBS and or MPH degree with minimum 10 years experience in clinical training and program management in the area of family planning, especially minilap and IUCD. S/he should demonstrated experience in applying quality assurance and have demonstrated experience in applying quality improvement approaches in family planning programs.
