Notice for Pre-Qualification of Contracting Firms

For Lift Works for Head Office Building of PEMRA Islamabad

Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA) intends to pre-quality Lift Contracting firms of repute for Supply of equipment & material, installation, commissioning and testing of Lift Works for their under construction multi-storied Head office building located at Mauve Area, G-8/1, Islamabad.

Firms having sufficient experience & personnel for carrying out Lift Works of not less than Rs. 20 million (PEC Registration Category minimum C-4 & C-5), need only apply on the prescribed forms. Estimated cost of works is likely to be of the order of Rs. 20 Million.

The forms may be obtained from Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory (PEMRA) headquarters, 6th Floor, Green Trust Tower, Blue Area, Islamabad. Phone # 051-9220283 Fax # 051-9220281 on any working day (Monday through Friday) between 1000 to 1300 hrs, on written request, on payment of Rs. 500/- (non-refundable) through demand draft/pay order in favour of PEMRA from the date of advertisement.

The application form duly filled out in all respects along with the supporting documents listed therein, should reach the office of the Secretary to the Authority, Pakistan Electronic Media Regulatory Authority (PEMRA), 6th Floor, Green Trust Tower, Blue Area, Islamabad, within 28 days after publication of this notice. PEMRA reserve the rights at its sole discretion to reject any application for pre-qualification without assigning any reason thereof. Applications without full particulars as asked for are likely to be rejected. If any information furnished by the contractor/firm is at any time found to be false, the awarded contract will be liable to be cancelled in addition to any other legal action against the contracting firm.
