Post-2005 Earthquake Rural Housing Reconstruction Program

The World Bank requires the services of a Communications Firm for the audiovisual documentation of the Rural Housing Reconstruction Program (RHRP) in the earthquake affected districts of NWFP and AJK. This program has been executed by the Earthquake  Reconstruction and Rehabilitation Authority (ERRA), is currently nearing completion, and has been unique in many ways. The objective of the proposed assignment is to 'visually document and capture on film, the results achieved, approaches adopted, and lessons learnt from the implementation of the RHRP'.

The World Bank, in partnership with ERRA, now invites eligible consulting firms to express their interest in providing the above services. Interested firms must provide information indicating that they are qualified to perform the Services (brochures, description of similar assignments, experience in similar conditions, capabilities of personnel, availability of appropriate skills among staff, etc.). They should have a proven track record of producing high quality documentaries, preferably of similar scope and nature, and should have know-how of and access to, state-of -the art production and editing technology and software. Firms may associate with other consultants to enhance their qualifications.

Selection for the assignment will be based on a co9mparison of the qualifications and prior experience of the interested firms, in accordance with the procedures set out in the World Bank's Guidelines: Selection and Employment of Consultants by Bank Borrowers, May 2004 revised October 2006.
