PRE QUALIFICATION Construction of Livestock Shelters

CNFA is implementing the 3 years. USAID funded "Improving Livelihoods & Enterprise Development" (I-LED) program in earthquake affected areas of Kaghan & Siran Valleys in Manserah District, NWFP & Bagh District, Azad Jammu & Kashmir.

CNFA/I-LED is planning to undertake construction of 124 Livestock shelters in Bagh District of Azad Jammu and Kashmir. The project is also aiming to assist the livestock sector by transferring the technical know how to the farmers to make them capable of building earthquake resistance livestock housing for themselves when needed.

Interested firms that have significant experience in execution of similar projects are requested to apply for pre-qualification with following details;

1. Name of firm, address and phone numbers, organizational structure of company.
2. Yearly turn over of the firm for the last three years (verifiable).
3. Details of the already designed and supervised projects of similar nature, during last 5 years.
4. List of permanent technical staff with their CVs and addresses and proof that they are in the employment of the firm.
5. Local and foreign associations.
6. Financial status (bank statement, balance sheet, audit reports of last three years).
7. Valid registration with relevant agencies i.e, PEC, income tax clearance certificate etc.
8. Facilities available with firm (office, software & hardware, record keeping, transport etc).

Applications must reach CNFA latest by 5:00 PM Monday July 14th, 2008 by mail indicating "Prequalification of Firms Livestock Shelters" on the envelop to : Procurement Department, House No. 8, Street 30, Sector F-7/1, Islamabad.
