ISLAMABAD HSE ADVISOR BHPB

This is an Islamabad based, senior position reporting to the HSE (Health Safety & Environment Manager.

This position will provide HSE co-ordinate, advice and support for operational activities within the Pakistan Production Unit, ensuring HSE risks are managed according to company and Petroleum HSE standards, policies and practices ; ensure effective implementation of the Corporate HSEC Management Systems and Fatal Risk Controls Protocols; promote a risk-based approach to HSE management ; lead initiatives to promote visible and pro-active management commitment and employee involvement in HSE activities; conduct or participate in HSE audits  and incident investigations; co-ordinate and manage emergency response preparedness; co-ordinate and manage occupational health programs; co-ordinate and manage contractor HSE management ; provision and delivery of HSE training (e.g. behavioral safety, incident investigation, emergency response); manage the HSE permitting and regulatory compliance aspects collected, stored, analyzed tracked and reported.

Degree in a relevant Engineering or Science discipline ; HSE professional qualification; minimum 10 years experience in a HSE discipline, preferably in E&P operations Board experience in HSE management systems, emergency response, auditing, training , behavioral observation and risk assessment techniques; familiarity with HSE regulatory requirement; knowledge of petroleum production operations.
