CARE International in Pakistan (CIP) is an international humanitarian organization working in 70 countries around the world. CIP is currently implementing various development programs is NWFP and Sindh.

We are looking for a well qualified and committed individual for the post of IT Manager. The post holder is responsible for overall management and supervision of all information Technology related functions in CARE. The principal function of the position is:

• LAN/WAN Administration
• Desktop, Hardware & Network Support
• Email Administration
• Telecommunication Support
• Overall System Security
• Web Server Administration
• IT Hardware & Software Inventory Management
• Implementation and update of IT Policies & Procedures, as well as User Training
• Supervise and operate CIP IT Helpdesk.

She/he is also responsible for the whole cycle of systems development including long range and strategic planning of the information system.

You should have minimum 5 years relevant experience and preferably a Masters Degree in Computer Sciences and meeting the criteria mentioned above in a reputable organization. You should also have good communication and interpersonal skills. The position is based in Islamabad but will involve 20% travel to field.
