Proposed Terms of References

1. Initiate the implementation of WHO Mental Health recovery plan for earthquake affected areas
2. Develop the guidelines and modules for PHC personnel for diagnosis and management of common mental disorders with the focus on post-disaster situation
3. Initiate, identify resource persons, develop curriculum and support the training of PHC personnel in diagnosis and management of common mental disorders.
4. Undertakes regular visits to the field, at least one visit to the affected areas every two weeks,
5. Liaises and coordinates with all the national a smooth implementation of the national mental health plan as part of the broader notional reconstruction and rehabilitation strategy.
6. Submits reports on request and monthly reports to WR, Pakistan and the WR/MNH in EMRO.
