Save the Children-UK is operational in Pakistan "Since
1979 and is working to bring dramatic changes in the lives of Pakistani children
by providing them quality education, health and protection. We are looking
for exuberant and experienced candidates for the following senior position.
COUNTRY MANAGER HR
Gross Salary: 125,383 pm
Contract: Three Years.
The country Manager HR will be overall responsible for all
HR functions including national and international recruitment and selection
processes, employment contracts and documentation, international staff contracts
and documentation, international staff contracts and benefits management HRMIS,
compensation and benefit systems, performance management systems, health and
safety measures, disciplinary and grievance mechanisms, staff counseling and
legal compliance.
Country Manager HR also takes the lead in security
management for the Pakistan Program. Being member of senior leadership
team the post holder will provide technical and strategic guidance in proposal
development, Program operations. Ensuring child protection policy at all
levels and taking lead on organizational development process internally and with
the partner organizations is another area of responsibility.
FURTHER INFORMATION:
- Minimum of five years of experience preferably at a
senior HR management level with post-graduate degree in Business
Administration HR or related descipline.
- Rich experience in people management with a high level
of integity.
- Tactful, ability to accept criticism, tolerant, ability
to modify style in order to reach goals and to maintain effectiveness within
changing environments and with varying responsibilities.
- Ability to lead a team of high level committed
professionals. Effective in utilization of staff and other resources.
Knowledge of when, how and to whom to delegate. Appropriate allocation
of decision making and other responsibilities.
- Effective leadership skills with vision and strategic
purpose.
- Willingness to make decisions, render judgments and
take actions, decisive.
- Effectiveness in identifying problems, seeking relevant
data, recognizing important information and diagnosing possible causes.
- Effective negotiation skills, diplomatic skills and
cultural and political sensitivity.
- Ability to create and maintain a high level of
effective output, capacity to work hard and independently.
- Ability to analyze, process and present numerical
information, e.g. financial and statistical data.
- Proficient in MS Excel, MS Word, Outlook.
- Proactive, persuasive, and ability to work under stress
and within deadlines.
- willingness to travel.
- Commitment to work with and for children.
