INVITATION FOR BIDS

For Design, Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning of
1.7 MW Dhanna Hydro Power Project

1. The Hydro Electric Board (HEC) the Employer) has financial/funds available through Annual Development Program (ADP) allocations from Government of Azad Jammu & Kashmir towards the cost of 1.7 MW Hydroelectric Project (the Project) and it is intends that the funds will be applied to eligible payment under the contract for:

Design, Supply, Erection, Testing, Commissioning of Plant including design & constrcution of civil works of 1.7 MW Hydro Power Project. The construction period of the project is estimated to be 36 months. Bidding will be conducted through National/International competitive bidding adn is open to all eligible bidders.

2. The employer invites sealed bids for the project on tumkey basis form eligible firms or persons licensed by the Pakistan Engineering Council (PEC) in the appropriate category for the works. A foreign bidder is entitled to bid only in a joint venture with a Pakistani constructor in accordance with provision of PEC bye-aws. Firms/manufactures desirous of participating in the above bid and having pervious experience of executing projects of similar magnitude and complexity should apply for issuance of bidding documents.
