Satellite DTH TV Platform - EOI

PTVC is seeking collaboration with "National / International" companies /consortiums for establishment and running of a Countrywide Interactive Satellite DTH TV platform.

All interested companies which have the relevant expertise are requested to sent the Expression of Interest.

The EOI must include:

• A complete corporate profile of the company, with its associate and sister companies directly or indirectly owned by the company / group.

• Details of experience in the broadcasting or communication sector.

• The solution must be modular and should enable PTVC to offer comprehensive functionality of a Media Processing Center (MPC), acquisition and Up-linking facility.

• Demonstrated financial capacity to undertake projects of this nature and magnitude.

• Undertaking on stamp paper that the company or its any Director/Partner are not defaulters of any government department, financial institution, or any other body etc.

• A brief note to highlight the strength and the suitability of the party to be the part of DTG project in Pakistan.

EOI is not en offer from PTVC but an invitation to receive proposals from interested companies. No contractual obligation what so ever shall arise from the EOI process a formal agreement is signed and executed by duly authorised officers of PTVC and selected joint venture partners.

PTVC reserves the right to accept or reject any or all offers /  proposals without assigning any reason. PTVC is not under any obligation to inform the applicants, firms/companies about the reasons of rejection f their EOI

EOI should reach the undersigned along with a bank draft of Rs. 200.00 (refundable) in favour of Pakistan Television Corporation Ltd. latest by May 25, 2007 till close of the office hours. only pre-qualified companies would be provided detailed terms of reference from PTVC.

Companies already awarded DTH Permission by PEMRA are not eligible to participate.

The successful parties who are prequalified would be required to give a complete feasibility plan showing commercial and financial viability with all supporting information.
