For Development Of Extension Material And Mass Awareness Campaign

Expression of interests are invited from leading reputed, well established, experienced and financially sound Advertising Agencies of development of compendious forestry extension marketing material and mass awareness campaign for projection of AJK Forest department achievements and initiatives regarding "Green Kashmir Program" throughout AJK.

1. The Govt. of AJK has approved a project seedlings procurement and planting campaign for national plantation year 2007. The main objectives of the project are:

• To create awareness about the importance of forests in the environment protection, erosion control and watershed protection for sustained supply of clean water, carbon sequestration, eco-system balance, provision of wildlife habitant and other non-timber forest produce.

•  To motivate the people for tree planting and protection of natural forests for environmental and watershed benefits.

• To involve people in forest development and protection activities on Govt. as well as on private lands.

• To increase forest cover through mass planting program.

• To reduce erosion form earthquake affected highly erosion susceptible mountains.

• To increase aesthetic beauty  of the area through compact planting on prominent places.

2. Interested advertising agencies which have the relevant expertise in developing marketing material and conducting mass awareness campaign are required to submit their following with expression of interests.

• A complete profile of the advertising agency.

• Description and relevant experience of similar assignments.

• List of clientele and performance reports.

• List and complete bio-data of experts having appropriate planning & implementation skills.

• Affidavit to the effect that the company have not been disqualified or blacklisted in the past.

• Financial standing to undertake projects of the similar nature and magnitude.

• Photographs of extension/marketing martial developed.

• Logistic and office automation facilities.

• National income tax and general sales tax certificates of registration.

3. The advertising agencies are require to supply all information as stated above or any additional information if necessary in Book shape as well as on computer CD which will non-refundable.

4. The advertising agency will be selected in accordance with the terms of reference laid down by the Forest Department of AJK for this purpose which are unchallengeable. Only short listed agencies would be provided detailed details terms of reference from forest department.

5. Forest Department of AJK reserve the right to accept or reject any or all expression of interests/proposals without assigning any reason hereof.

6. The decision of the forest department of AJK as communicated by the undersigned shall be final, binding and conclusive and may not be challenged on any grounds whatsoever.

7. Interested advertising agencies may obtain further information form the background documents at the address given below during the office hours 0800 am to 0200 pm.

8. Expression of interest must be delivered to this office by no later than two weeks from the date of publications of this advertisement. This advertisement has also been floated on Forest Department AJK website www.forests.gov.pk
