Pakistan Stone Development Company (PASDEC) is a newly established entity under section 42 of the Companies Ordinance 1984 which is subsidiary of Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation , established for the purpose of development of Marble and Granite sector in Pakistan.

PASDEC is looking for a highly motivated individuals to lead the company (based in Islamabad) at the exciting period of its inception and development. The client to appoint a CEO who meets the following position profile:

Major Responsibilities:

Develop and execute strategies to advance the Company's mission and objectives.
Exercising executive powers and authorities as delegated by the Board.
Plan, develop and executive strategies in consultation with other members of the team
Build and manage relationship necessary for furtherance of the Company's objectives.
Identify and access opportunities , scope and feasibility for new initiatives.
Develop a clear understanding of the business issues being faced by the Dimensional Stone Industry , including , but not limited to, policy development and regulatory framework , economic development , technology needs , skill needs , commercialization , management , etc.
Maintain close liaison with the Chairman and the Board of Director and keep them updated on the Company's activities.
Execute and implement all projects, directions and decisions of the Board of Directors.
Carry out all duties and responsibilities required under the companies Ordinance , 1984.
Represent the Company and interact with public and private sectors including media , government agencies, funding agencies and/or the general public.
Plans , development and implements strategies for generating resources for the organization.
Negotiate and finalize contract , leases ,deeds , mortgages , and other legal documents on behalf of Management.

The Candidates Qualifications:

Master degree in Engineering , Business Administration or related discipline.
Preferably between 40 to 50 years.
15 years of experience at corporate level of which preferably 5 years of relevant experience in the Marble & Granite sector in the top management positions.
Practical knowledge about Supply Chain in the Marble & Granite Industry in Pakistan and preferably its linkages at international level .
Experience in strategic planning and execution with proven leadership skills.
Ability to analyze data and problem solving skills.
Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
