Prequalification/offers from established
national/international mining companies/firms/individuals are invited for
acquiring mining rights of following mineral deposits exclusively on private
and or public-private partnership basis

through its Mineral Development Corporation (AKMIDC) has established above
mentioned mineral deposits. Reserve estimation and other studies of studies of
these deposits have been made adhering to standard international practices with
the technical assistance of United Nations Development Program (UNDP) and
European Economic Commission (EEC). Comprehensive bankable feasibility studies
(requiring cost updating) covering reserve estimation, mine development
/commercial exploitation, processing, marketing and financial analysis etc.

each mineral deposit can be obtained on payment of Rs. 50,000/-
Interested companies/firms/individuals are required to
submit Technical Proposals (for Prequalification) and Financial Proposals /
offers for acquiring mining rights exclusively on private and or public –Private
partnership basis in separate envelopes. The weightage of technical &
financial proposal shall be 30:70 respectively. The Technical Proposals should
include following information duly supported by necessary documentation.
of Company/firm/individual with complete address: telephone/fax number,
Email address. Foreign investors (company/firm/individual) are also
entitled to participate provided incorporated/registered in Pakistan.
of financial strength and net worth of the bidding company/firm/individual
from any scheduled bank governed by state Bank of Pakistan.
case of foreign company/firm/individual, they shall have to get themselves
duly registered/incorporated with Board of Investment/Securities and
Exchange Commission of Pakistan before filling the application.
case of already exciting company/firm and audited statement of accounts
for the previous three years is required. In case of new company /firm a
financial soundness certificate from any banking institution will be
required along with last one year transaction statement.
Tax Number and C.N.I.C of the individual/company/firm, its directors/managing
partners and parties in individual capacity shall be submitted.
of experience in mineral projects including, operating and managing mines,
so far handled with scope of work, cost & period of operation. List of
qualified mining personnel engaged with bio-data, address, qualification
and experience shall be provided.
of necessary equipment (mining machinery, earth moving and processing)
which could be utilized for mining operations.
that the company/firm is not blacklisted by any government or semi
government Organization in the last five years nor involved in litigation with
any client/organization/government/semi-government of semi government
organization in the last five years nor involved in litigation with any
client. Organization/semi o government/ autonomous agency. Otherwise a
brief description of litigation or arbitration and its results thereof
must be provided.

The Financial Proposals should be in accordance with terms
and conditions, which can be obtained from the secretary committee.
Incomplete information/documents supplied may render the
company/firm/individual disqualified. Applications for prequalification
(Technical Proposals and Financial Proposals addressed to the secretary
committee should be sent in separate sealed envelopes, marked as “Technical
Proposals” and ‘financial Proposals” on under mentioned address. The last date
for receipt of application is 18/04/2011.
Applications received after due date will not be
entertained. The competent authority reserves the right in its sole discretion
to reject (any or all) or accept any application without assigning any reason
