Prequalification Notice

PTV intends to launch 100 Channels DTH Platform in KU Band. Technical Prequalification are required initially for the first phase for 50,000 to 1,00000 Nos. for the following:

i- 60 cm KU band dish antenna with complete accessories.

ii- Set top boxes with DVB Common interface Conditional Access Systems, Set Top Boxes may be split up in two categories one for the basic features and other to support standard value added services.

All interested parties are requested to submit their pre-qualification proposals regarding above on or before 05-07-2007, in sealed envelopes addressed to Chairman Senior Tender Committee PTV Headquarters, Federal TV Complex, Constitution Avenue, Islamabad clearly marked with Pre-qualification Tender for 60 cm Dish Antenna & Set Top Boxes.

Following terms and conditions shall apply.

• All items of equipment required shall be operable on 220V 10% 50 Hz.

• Tenders received without technical brochures shall not be acceptable.

• Local firms are required to submit their own & manufacturer / Principal's Company profile, alongwith valid Agency Certificate and Registration Certificate from Registrar of firms or SECP as applicable, NTN registration, Sales Tax registration certificate.

• A List of clients for this equipment and their deployment along with their contact numbers is to be attached with pre qualification tender.

• The make/models country of origin warranty and after sales service support, delivery period should be clearly mentioned.

PTV reserves the right to accept or reject any or all technical pre-qualification tenders without assigning any reason what so ever.
