Software Engineer  

The Job: The job requires understanding of logic and database design structure of the bank's accounting and business system and its enhancement. Gather & document business requirements, analyze and propose suitable architecture, keep track of changes, fixed or up gradation and work closely with business users by providing programming and other related support for their functional and technical issues.

It requires communication to work through complex problems and complete tasks with a high level of accuracy and a strong customer satisfaction focus.

The Candidates:  The ideal candidates should be an IT graduate from HEC recognized institute with an aptitude to develop and support business applicants. The incumbent should possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in system analysis and development. Experience of working in a banking environment would be a plus but not mandatory Have the ability to adapt and learn quickly in a fast paced environment.

Must have Good understanding of software Development Life cycle , highly  motivated with an interest in solving problems, paying extreme attention to details and maintaining written documentation. Possess strong RDBMS knowledge in designing and creating as efficient and scalable database, exposure to popular reporting / Bl software e.g. Crystal Reports, Business Objects, MS Analysis Services etc. is desirable, Should be will versed with. Net framework and windows 2000/2003 server platforms, Have experience in C #, ASP. NET, HTML, XHTML, XML / XSLT, AJAX, IIS, T-SQL. Preferably be below 28 years.

The above position is based at Islamabad.
