PRE- QUALIFICATION NOTICE

DEVELOPMENT OF

Model village Saidpur ISLAMABAD

Application are invited from potential & reputed contractor / developers / Architectural firms having vast and varied experience with sound and complete resources, well versed in traditional construction practices especially in folk and colloquial traditions for "DEVELOPMENT OF MODEL VILLAGE (SAIDPUR), Islamabad, which includes:

Development and up gradation of Infrastructure and services with dynamic and creative capabilities etc.

Creation of a unique attraction for tourists.

Preservation & restoration of old village houses / building  and revival of folk methods of construction and design to promote cultural heritage of Potohar Region.

Enhancement of Margalla hills recreation spots for tourists.

Following information should accompany the application;

i. Original structure of the firm and their registered official address.

ii. Detail of Technical Staff on roll with CV's and copies of certificates / degree and registration with PEC, where required.

iii. Specific detail of works of similar nature executed in the past ten years with complimentary evidence, duly certified by employer.

iv. Detail of team of experts e.g. Engineers Conservationists, Artisans & Architects etc.

v. Detail of works in hand of similar nature, if any.

vi. Experience in heritage development work like renovation / conservation.

vii. Detail of machinery & equipment.

viii. Certificate to the effect that the firm is not involved in litigation with any department .

ix. Financial status with bank references and satisfactory audit balance sheets for the last three years duly certified by Chartered Accountants supported by Income Tax paid and detail of immovable properties owned by the firm and its Directors.

x. Certification from the concerned department that the works of similar nature executed by the firms were complete in stipulated period at the entire satisfaction of the Department / Client.

xi. Registration  with Pakistan Engineering Council valid for the year 2006- 2007.

xii. The National Tax Number of the firm along with a copy of the last Income Tax return, duly received by the Income Tax Department.

xiii. Any other information deemed necessary by the firm.

The Capital Development Authority reserves the right , in its discretion, to accept any or all applications for pre-qualification of the firms / contractors without assigning any reason thereof. The firms, fulfilling the above requirements should submit applications, in sealed covers, so as; to reach the office of project Director (Model Village Saidpur) / Senior Director Sports and Culture, CDA, Room #28, Faced Block-II, CDA Secretariat, G-7/4, Islamabad by August 06, 2007. Incomplete application will not be entertained.
