Expression of Interest for Pre-qualification of Constructors

Construction of Cloverleaf Interchange at Zero Point, Islamabad Pakistan

1. The Capital Development Authority Islamabad intends to finance the cost of Construction of Interchange at Zero Point, Islamabad, for removing congestion and provision of conflict-free multi-direction vehicular transfer through grade separation at the said site.

2. The Capital Development Authority Islamabad, hereinafter referred to as "The Employer" intends to pre-qualify local and international firm(s) constructor(s) / joint ventures on the basis of criteria laid down under the pre-qualification documents for the work entitled "Construction of Interchange at Zero Point, Islamabad" through a single contract.

3. Pre-qualification is open to all local and international Construction Companies/Joint Ventures having undertaken and completed similar works satisfactorily in their home and other countries.

4. Interested companies may obtain the Pre-qualification Documents from the office of the Employer or may request to mail it at the address given hereunder. The request must clearly state "Expression of Interest for Pre-qualification Documents for Construction of Interchange at Zero Point, Islamabad".

5. The pre-qualification documents are available for a non-refundable fee of Rs. 1500/- or US$200/-.

6. The documents, if requested by mail or courier, will be promptly dispatched by mail or courier, however, under no circumstances the Employer will be responsible for late delivery or loss of the documents so mailed or sent by courier.

7. Application for pre-qualification must be clearly marked Application for Pre-qualification for "Construction of Interchange at Zero Point, Islamabad" and delivered in sealed envelope by hand or through registered mail/courier at the address given hereunder by 13-08-2007.

8. Only constructors/firms/joint venture(s) pre-qualification under this process will be invited to bid.

9. The Employer has the right to accept or reject anyone or all applications without assigning any reason.
