DIRECTOR LEGAL

A progressive organization responsible to act as one window facility in matters relating to the setting up of power and related infrastructure projects in the private sector requires the Services of a Director Legal

Qualification :

Advocate of the Supreme Court of Pakistan or a Provincial High Court Barrister or post Graduate qualification in Law, preferably with working knowledge of Engineering, Finance or Economic would be an advantage.

Required Experience:

The ideal candidates must have a minimum of fifteen (15) years proven experience (preferably with a reputable local / multinational firm of solicitors or a multinational or private company of repute), including significant experience pertinent to the power project development and related agreemen;s Experience essential in contractual matters and leading role in negotiations of agreements. Related experience in corporate commercial taxation and insurance would be a great asset. Must have a good track record of leading teams.

Desired Skills:

The selected individual will be responsible to providing inputs on Power Projects related policy and legal framework. The incumbent should be capable of making recommendations independently to the Managing Director on all legal issues  related to competitive solicitation, evaluation of bids, negotiation of agreements and the provisions contained therein, and monitoring compliance of private power project. Good analytical skills and good as well written communication skills are required.

Terms of Employment :

It will be a three years contract with three month probationary period Attractive market based salary and benefits, commensurate with qualification and experience are offered.
