MICRONUTRIENT QUOTATION

The Micronutrient Initiative (www.micronutrient.org) an international not-for-profit organization aiming to stimulate support national actions to eliminate malnutrition in Pakistan. The MI solicits quotations from reputed firms regarding supply of the following items for Universal Salt Iodization Program being launched in 16 Districts of Punjab.

1. Potassium Iodated (KIO3)
2. Drip-Feeds for iodization of edible salt
3. Rapid Test Kits for testing iodine in salt
4. Designing and development of Printing blocks for salt pouches

Interested firms can look at samples of above items, at MI Office Islamabad, on address mentioned below. Specification Document, along with photographs of drip sets, would also be e-mailed/faxed to parties soliciting their interest through email to asheikh@micronutrient.org and / or through Fax No. 92 51 2816165 to the attention of MI Pakistan.

For KIO3, quotation should accompany security deposit (refundable) @ 3% of total KIO3 price, in shape of DD/PO favouring "National Program Manager The Micronutrient Initiative" and other document/literature should be sent not later than 1st October 2007 to the following MI address
