Expansion/Construction of

World Bank Office in Islamabad

The world Bank invites statements of qualification on which to base the selection of General Contractors for the receipt of an Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the expansion/construction of the World Bank Office in Islamabad, Pakistan.

Firms must be licensed and approved to do business in Pakistan and have minimum related sales of US$3,000,000 10 million per annum, fiscal capability to furnish a US$3,000,000 performance bond and consistent profitability if its operations over the last 5 years. The scope of work is primarily base building construction, interior fit-out and installation of new utilities connections, HVAC, plumbing, electrical work and communication infrastructure installations.

The Solicitation, RFI 08-165 will be ready for distribution to interested firms on Monday, October 29, 2007. Last date for submission of the RFI is November 30, 2007.
