COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT FACILITATOR

Plan is an independent, international, non-government organization dedicated to working with and for children. Plan Pakistan is a member of a network of some 69 countries around the world. Currently, we are seeking dynamic individuals who are willing to join our offices in mansehra, Chakwal, Islamabad or Vehari.

Community Development Facilitator

(1 each for Vahari, Chakwal & Islamabad)

The successful candidates should have the following skills, experience and qualifications:

• Demonstrated commitment to children, their rights, humanitarian aid and social justice movements.

• Ability to work as a part of a team and demonstrating an open attitude and an aptitude for learning.

• Strong planning skills and  the ability to co-ordinate interventions at community level.

• Good writing and analytical abilities.

• Capacity building, facilitation and training skills.

• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to act as an effective advocate for children's rights and needs.

• Experience and skills in networking with poor children and their families, NG0's local government and community-based organizations.

• A minimum of 2 years field experience.

• A graduate or a degree in social science / related subject.

• Willingness to work in challenging conditions and travel extensively to remote villages.
