Land Reclamation Project Prequalification 

PRE- QUALIFICATION OF CONTRACTORS

LAND RECLAMATION OF AREA FOR PROJECT SRC AT ORMARA

The SRC Directorate will shortly be inviting tenders from reputable International and Pakistan contracting firms specializing in Land reclamation and filling of marine Works for the Construction of Project SRC at Ormara. The works will be carried out in accordance with B.S.S.D.I.N., ASTM and / or equivalent International specifications with high degree of quality control and specified construction schedule in Pak Rupees only.

The Reclamation works of Project SRC may comprise of land filling from dune sand, shore hills , rock protection etc. The maximum depth of fill be about 4m and the area to be filled is around 0.2 Million Square Meters. The fill may involve sand drains and other quick methods of settlement and compaction.

Experience International and Pakistan civil engineering contractors who have previous experience of similar nature of works and are interested in tendering for the construction of this works are invited to apply in writing for their pre-qualification. The pre-qualification documents may be obtained at a cost of Rs, 5,000.00 per set (Non Refundable) in shape of a pay order ./ draft in name of Project Director Project  SRC, on request in writing on firm's letter head to:

The closing date of receipt of duly filled pre qualification documents in Rawalpindi is     21st November 2007. after which no further document will be entertained.

Directorate of Project SRC reserves the right to pre qualify or reject any or all applications without assigning any reason thereof.
