Mercy Corps is a non-governmental & non-profit organization that exists to alleviate suffering, poverty and oppression by helping people build secure, productive and just communities. Mercy Corps is seeking applications from potential candidates for the following position:

Project Manager, Global Fund -01 Position (Lahore Based)

Qualifications & Experience:

MBBS and Masters Degree in public health. At least seven years of work experience of which at least three years in a senior management role. Experience working with an INGO is a must. Previous experience in managing Global Fund grants is desirable while previous experience with a variety of donors will be an added advantage. Excellent writing skills required. Track record of maintaining liaison with governmental and non-governmental partners. Proficiency in written and spoken English. Required skills include attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members. Responsibilities/Duties:

The Project Manager will be responsible for the overall management, planning, implementation, monitoring ft supervision and reporting of the project. The incumbent will provide technical and management support and guidance to project staff for implementing program activities; preparing monthly, quarterly and yearly reports; and developing and following MBE Plans. The incumbent in consultation with the Principal Recipient (PR) Unit, will be responsible for strengthening the capacity of project staff through formal workshops, training etc. S/he will carry-out regular monitoring visits of the project sites, provide on-site technical support and will ensure quality, validity and timeliness of reports, in accordance with the Global Fund guidelines and requirements. S/he will also be responsible to ensure implementation of Mercy Corps policies and procedures and safety and security protocols.
